Dr. Leif Gambee, DMD

Dentist

My name is Leif Gambee, and I’m excited to be part of such a special team. The minute I walked into Carlton Dental and saw how close-knit and caring the staff was, I knew this was the right place for me.

I was born and raised in Oregon City, then attended Gonzaga University for my undergrad in Spokane, Washington. Following my undergrad, I was fortunate enough to return home and continue my education at OHSU in their dental program. Little did I know, OHSU would assign me a second-year mentor who would eventually become my wife, my mentor for life.

My wife Jacqueline is from Arizona, but we are both Oregonians at heart. Our journey has led us on countless road trips in the constant search for the perfect setting to plant our roots. It only took one visit and witnessing Carlton Dental’s connection to the community before we realized we were home. I cherish the opportunity to become a part of the Carlton community, and I’m eager to continue to provide the upstanding dental care and tradition of excellence that you have become accustomed to at Carlton Dental.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Education:

  • Undergrad at Gonzaga University, Spokane WA
  • Continued education at OHSU Dental Program

Dr. Jacqueline Gambee

Dr. Jacqueline Gambee attended Oregon Health and Science University where she earned her dental degree and completed a general practice residency at Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Gambee fell in love with the beauty and culture of the Northwest and with her husband, Dr. Leif Gambee, decided to plant their roots permanently. She enjoys helping the community and those in need, participating in volunteering programs such as Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy, and traveling dental vans providing care to underserved areas. She cherishes the opportunity to work alongside her husband, the amazing team at Carlton Dental and she strives to offer gentle and caring dental services to the members of the Carlton community.

“I love that I have the opportunity to use my skills and make a difference in the lives of my patients.”

When she is not making healthy, beautiful smiles, you will often find her staying fit by practicing yoga and pilates or riding her tandem bike with her husband. She also spends plenty of time playing with her puppies.

Covid-19 Update

We are doing our part and help get everyone through the current dilemma. We will be consolidating some of our clinics but otherwise continue to provide urgent and emergency dental care. We will be donating our extra supplies to local hospitals to help them in their effort to better care for those affected.

To also help, we are now expanding our hours in some of our clinics from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  We hope these extended hours will not only better serve our patients but will help keep dental emergencies from overloading value space in emergency rooms.
